The ICF Core Competencies were developed to support greater understanding about the skills and approaches used within today\u2019s coaching profession as defined by ICF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The updated ICF Core Competencies were released in November 2019, marking its first update since the competencies\u2019 creation in 1998. The updated Core Competencies will be integrated in ICF-Accredited Coach Training Programs curricula beginning in January 2021. Then, updated Credentialing assessments reflecting the revised Core Competencies will launch in the second half of 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This workshop will focus on the thirth ICF Compentency “Maintains Presence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

B. Co-Creating the Relationship<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Maintains Presence<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Definition: Is fully conscious and present with the client, employing a style that is open, flexible, grounded and confident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The webinar is devoted to Core Competency 5, in three areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    1. The focus on the purpose and practise of maintaining presence during coaching session. The answers will be provided on Why (is it important)? and How (to do it)?<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. The additional accent will be put on interconnectivity between activities of the coach to maintain presence and demonstration of other competencies. In order to achieve this aim, the lecturer will provide case studies and examples from own practise.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. The discussion will be raised around the challenges that maintaining presence bring to the coach and ways to overcome them. Participants will be given a task and split into the groups to share experiences and identify the best practices \uf04a.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
